In the Hundreds of Wonders exhibit, you’ll encounter everything from shrunken heads to animal oddities.
2. Bizarre on the Boulevard
Explore the Odditorium before heading over to the area of Ripley’s that’s designed to showcase movie props. You’ll find exhibits that highlight Nike “Air Mags” won by Michael J. Fox in Back to the Future Part II as well as the iconic hoverboard. Engineering console props from Star Trek: First Contact are on display here as well.

See exhibits like a Marilyn Monroe statue made from shredded money, a WALL_E replica made from scrap car parts, and a Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson statue designed entirely out of cigar ash! Other notable exhibits throughout Ripley’s include the Fiji Mermaid which dates back to 1842. This piece has onlookers and naturalists alike believing mermaids were real for decades! There’s also a display featuring cat armor designed by Canadian artist Jeff de Boer. The armor is authentic and to scale and other versions are designed for creatures as small as rats and mice.

Ripley’s Penguin Playhouse will house African penguins, which prefer a much warmer climate than Antarctic penguins. These penguins have a streamlined body suitable for swimming, and sport black and white feathers with stripes and spots that serve as identification – similar to our fingerprints! The Penguin Nursery is a key feature of this exhibit, helping conserve the endangered African penguin population.
