See What’s New At Barefoot Landing In 2018

Barefoot Landing has long been a favorite Grand Strand destination, and it’s only getting better! Set along the beautiful Intracoastal Waterway in North Myrtle Beach, this unique shopping, dining, and entertainment center is undergoing a major transformation, including the development of a new restaurant district called Dockside Village. If you haven’t visited Barefoot Landing recently, it’s time to plan a vacation and take the trip!

The new restaurant district will be anchored by Lulu’s by Lucy Buffet (yes, she’s Jimmy’s sister) — a 20,000 square foot, 400-seat restaurant that will feature waterfront dining, nightly live music, a ropes course, an arcade, and a large sandy beach complete with LuLu’s Shag Beach Bar. Lulu’s menu will include coastal southern favorites like crab melts, and cheeseburgers topped with pimento cheese, bacon and a fried green tomato. You can find this family-friendly new restaurant between Greg Norman’s and TBonz in the spring of 2018.

Blueberry’s Grill

This unique eatery in Myrtle Beach is a local foodie favorite, and it’s much anticipated new location in Barefoot Landing is sure to be equally popular. From gourmet omelets and Eggs Benedict (with crab or salmon), to classic, Southern-style biscuits and gravy, Blueberry’s Grill offers unique twists on your favorite foods, made with fresh ingredients. Other menu items include sweet potato pancakes, French beignets, garden salads made with locally grown produce, Black Angus burgers, gourmet sandwiches, and specialty entrées like Charleston Shrimp and Grits.

Barefoot Landing’s multi-year transformation is just getting underway, and will include a number of other great eateries and entertainment venues, nestled in this picturesque and quintessentially coastal setting. In the meantime, stop by and browse over 80 charming shops and boutiques, an impressive variety of restaurants offering fine dining and lighter fare, and amazing attractions like the Alabama Theatre, Alligator Adventure, The House of Blues, and T.I.G.E.R.S. Preservation Station. And for a place to stay during your visit to the Grand Strand, contact Vacation Rentals of North Myrtle Beach. Check out this featured property.
